This policy explains what information Roofing Los Angeles ("we", "us") collects through roofinglosangeles.co, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have, including your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.

We don't ask for sensitive personal information such as financial account numbers, government IDs or precise geolocation. Please don't include it in your message. We don't use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking on this website.
2. How we use it
- To respond to your request and arrange an inspection, quote or repair.
- To match your request with a licensed roofing contractor who serves your area and handles your type of roof.
- To follow up about your request by phone, text or email.
- To keep records of requests, prevent spam and abuse, and improve our website and service.
- To comply with the law and protect our rights.
3. Who we share it with
Roofing contractors we work with. When you send a request, we share your name, contact details and project details with one or more licensed roofing contractors so they can contact you and provide the work. Those contractors use your information under their own privacy practices.
Service providers. We use companies that host our website, receive and route form submissions, store records and send notifications. They process information only on our behalf and under contract.
Legal and business transfers. We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale, merger or transfer of our business or its assets. In that case, the new owner may use the information as described in this policy.
4. Sale and sharing of personal information
Under the CCPA, giving your request to a roofing contractor in exchange for payment or other value can count as a "sale" of personal information. In the past 12 months, we have sold or shared the identifiers and commercial information described above, and only with licensed roofing and building contractors, for the purpose of responding to your request. We don't sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16. You can opt out at any time; see section 7.
5. How long we keep it
We keep request records for up to 24 months after your last contact with us, so we can follow up on the work and keep business records. After that we delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
6. Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we use it, and who we have shared or sold it to.
- Access a copy of the specific information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information.
- Not be discriminated against for using any of these rights.

We may need to verify your identity by matching the name and contact details you gave us. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission. California residents may also ask about disclosures for direct-marketing purposes under Civil Code §1798.83 ("Shine the Light").
7. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Tell us below and we will stop selling or sharing your information within 15 business days. We also treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a valid opt-out request for that browser.

8. Security, children and changes
Security. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted connections and access-restricted storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children. This website is for adults arranging roofing work. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes. If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
